You’ve got a lot of questions.
I like that about you.
FAQs

I price based on my years of experience in journalism, content marketing, and the HR/B2B spaces.
If you’re looking for someone to turn around an 800-word listicle for a low low price (and in a low low time span), I’m not that person.
But if you’re looking for someone to deliver thoughtful, research-backed, editorial-quality content, then let’s chat.
-
Yes, but it’s project-dependent.
I don’t work on an hourly rate for any type of content project in any capacity. But I do charge by the hour for content editing services.
I usually work on a day rate for quicker projects (think: sales one-pagers, marketing campaign content, or when providing ad hoc support).
-
Maybe. Sometimes I’m able to take projects on at a cheaper rate if I have a spare slot in my calendar, or you’re a really small business (think: fellow sole founder).
If you have a project in mind, but aren’t sure how much it might cost to work with me, reach out anyway! We might be able to reduce the scope of the project to fit your budget — or if I really can’t help you, I’ll usually be able to recommend someone who can.
Win-win either way!
-
No. My price is for the copy only. Trust me — it’s better that way!
However, from time-to-time I might suggest infographics, graphs, or other visual elements as part of the content to improve user experience. It’s totally up to you if you choose to take my advice.

Yes! My minimum booking for blogs or articles is two per month. I can also offer a bulk discount when you order blog posts in packs of five or 10.
If you book three or more case studies, I can apply a 10% discount, but a 50% upfront deposit is required.
-
I usually advise folks to try and book in at least month in advance to guarantee my availability.
But I know that plans (and budgets) can change quickly, so I try to make sure I have a little wriggle room month-to-month.
A good rule of thumb:
Big-ticket lead magnet or report? Book me in advance.
Article or case study? I’ll usually be able to fit you in with less notice.
If you’ve got a really tight, last-minute deadline, I charge a 20% rush fee to make the magic happen on time.
